Crash forces temporary closure of Interstate 465 in Hamilton County

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. — All westbound lanes of Interstate 465 were temporarily closed on Saturday evening due to a crash.

According to an INDOT Traffic Management Center alert, at least one person was injured in a crash on I-465 near mile marker 30, which is located between Springmill Road and West 96th Street.

The right two lanes of the roadway were opened around 6:40 p.m.

Public emergency reporting systems indicate Hamilton County first responders were dispatched to the area to clean up and investigate the crash around 6:07 p.m.
