INDOT: I-465 EB crash causes lane closures in Marion County

INDOT officials said that the left two lanes are now open after Tuesday morning’s crash on I-465.

INDIANAPOLIS — A portion of I-465 in Marion County is closed because of a reported crash.

According to officials with the Indiana Department of Transportation, the right three lanes of I-465 eastbound at the 1.2-mile marker are closed “due to a crash with injuries” on Tuesday morning.

Officials with the Indiana State Police report that multiple vehicles are involved in the incident. There is no indication of how long the lanes will be closed.

This comes after a crash on I-69 southbound in Hamilton County is causing traffic to be diverted on Tuesday morning.
