TOPEKA (KSNT) – The City of Topeka announced on Oct. 10 that a local apartments complex now has dumpsters and sanitation has started on the property.

We reported on Oct. 7 that residents were without dumpsters for some time at the White Lakes Plaza Apartments, and that trash was beginning to pile up. City of Topeka spokesman Dan Garrett said that as of Oct. 10, most of the large items have been cleared and the apartment complex is working towards compliance.

Although the apartment has dumpsters and sanitation services again, the sanitation case remains open until the property is in full compliance.
