Veteran Golfers Association helping vets 18 holes at a time

Veteran’s Day is soon upon us but caring for the well-being of our veterans is an everyday, yearlong kind of thing. Whether it’s helping the Chicago area man driving this truck that was blown up in Afghanistan in 2010 or the other 38,000-members, the Veterans Golfers Association is there to help:  18-holes at a time.

Now in it’s 10th year, the VGA will crown another champion at Olympia Fields Country Club this weekend.

WGN’s Patrick Elwood has more about the organization and what it means for it’s members.
