Jones County Sheriff’s Office arrests 3 in multi-county theft investigation

JONES COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Three arrests have been made in connection with a multi-county theft and burglary investigation.

Darrell Murphy, Zachary McMorris, and Cody Douglass were taken into custody as part of the ongoing investigation. Authorities say numerous stolen items have been recovered, with some having been returned to their owners, while others remain unclaimed.

The Jones County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation with assistance from agencies in Taylor and Callahan counties, as well as the Texas Department of Public Safety.
