By rssfeeds-admin AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Texas Division of Emergency Management reminds Texans that starting Monday, it’s Fire Prevention Week.
TDEM officials provide the following tips as wildfire danger can rise quickly in Texas to help reduce fire risk:
- Avoid activities that cause sparks
- Don’t park on dry grass
- Properly secure chains before driving
- Clear dry brush from your property
