“The Life of a Showgirl” comes out Friday midnight (9 p.m. PT on Thursday), and there are already listening parties being planned in the Bay Area and beyond for Swifties to gather.
Walnut Creek wine bar Fizz is giving fans to celebrate the 12-track project on the day of its release. Fizz, located at 1652 Bonanza St., will transform its space into “The Life of a Showgirl” spirit.
The party at Fizz is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event is free and open to anyone 21 and over. According to a press release from Fizz, highlights of the event include:
- Fully transformed into a dazzling, showgirl-inspired venue for the night
- Shimmering showgirl-themed specialty flights and a Taylor-approved curated menu featuring chicken tenders, fries, oysters, and luxe caviar add-ons
- Friendship bracelet-making station to swap and shine with fellow fans
- Album-themed photo booth to capture every showgirl moment
Fizz is also holding a raffle for merchandise, including a “The Life of a Showgirl: Sweat
and Vanilla Perfume Portofino Orange Glitter Vinyl.” Attendees in the best “showgirl attire” will win Fizz gift card prizes.
More event information can be viewed on Fizz’s website.
A Swift album listening party will also be held in San Francisco. The free event will be at Splash Sports Bar in Thrive City (outside Chase Center).
Movie theaters are also screening a special event film in honor of the album’s release. National chains like Cinemark and AMC are showing “The Official Release Party of a Showgirl.”
Swift, 35, recently got engaged to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in August. The couple had been dating since 2023.
