Vallejo homicide: Woman intentionally pushed into path of oncoming vehicle, police say
(KRON) — A woman who was intentionally pushed in front of an oncoming vehicle in Vallejo on Sept. 15 died Sunday, the Vallejo Police Department announced.

Officers were called to the 100 block of Lincoln Road in Vallejo around 3:19 a.m. for a pedestrian hit by a vehicle. At the scene, officers found the woman suffering from major injuries. She was taken to the hospital, where she remained in critical condition for 13 days until she died of her injuries.

“Preliminary reports indicated the incident was a vehicle versus pedestrian collision,” Vallejo PD said. “However, during the course of the investigation, officers developed information that the victim had been intentionally shoved into the path of the oncoming vehicle.”

The motive and circumstances of the homicide are under investigation. Police did not say if any suspects have been identified in the case.

Officials are withholding the victim’s identity from the public at this time. Anyone with information about the homicide is asked to contact Vallejo PD.

The homicide is Vallejo’s 13th of 2025.
