NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The Louisiana State Police is investigating a fatal crash in New Orleans Tuesday morning, Sept. 30.
Around 4:20 a.m., New Orleans Police Department officers were called to the scene of a crash on Paris Road near the Green Bridge. That’s where officers learned a pedestrian had been struck by an 18-wheeler.
NOLA EMS pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
No further details are available at this time. The victims identity will be released after an autopsy is done and the family is notified.
