NORTHEAST KANSAS (KSNT) – This week’s episode of K-Nation focuses on KU football’s hard-fought win over UCF, K-State’s heartbreaking loss to Baylor and the first ‘Sunflower Showdown’ of the season.

• Kansas’ offense kicked in to high-gear in the second half, helping the Jayhawks grab a 27-20 win

• Kansas women’s golf will host the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitation Monday through Tuesday, from the Lawrence Country Club
• Both K-State men’s and women’s golf finished in 4th at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas
• Jayhawk softball continues with its fall scrimmage slate, defeating Rockhurst University 5-0
• Wildcat tennis’ Diana Smolinska and Margaret Jaraczewski both scored wins in the singles competition at the Cyclone Invitational
• The Jayhawks were victorious in the Sunflower Showdown on the pitch, 4-1
