MOORHEAD, Miss. (WJTV) – Officials with Mississippi Delta Community College (MDCC) said the lockdown for the Moorhead campus has been lifted.

They said a suspect was arrested in Belzoni, and police completed their search of the reported incident on campus. No injuries were reported.

MOORHEAD, Miss. (WJTV) – Mississippi Delta Community College (MDCC) in Moorhead has been placed on lockdown until further notice.

According to officials, MDCC Campus Police received an unconfirmed report of a person on the campus who may be armed.

Out of an abundance of caution, the campus is on lockdown while law enforcement searches campus. We will remain in lockdown until further notice.
