FOUNTAIN SPRINGS – Local bands will be in competition again on a local field this Saturday.
North Schuylkill’s annual Tournament of Bands competition is set for Saturday, Oct. 4 at Ghosh Orthodontics Field at Spartan Stadium.
Gates open at 4pm and the show starts at 5pm.
Ten high school bands, including Sentinel-area schools Shenandoah Valley, North Schuylkill, Mahanoy Area, and Hazleton Area, will perform.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens.
Other bands set to perform include Wyoming Area, Jim Thorpe, Panther Valley, Notre Dame-Green Pond, Lake Lehman, and Pottsville.
