Get to know NJ governor and lieutenant governor candidates on PHL17

NEW YORK (PIX11) — New Jersey residents will soon cast their votes for the state’s next governor and lieutenant governor.

Ahead of Election Day, voters can get to know the candidates during PIX11’s Lieutenant Governor’s Debate on Tuesday and Governor’s Forum on Friday. Both events will take place in front of a live audience at Kean University in Union, New Jersey, and will air live on PIX11, PIX11.com, and PIX11+. Both programs will also be simulcast on PHL17 and PHL17.com.

“Debate Night in NJ: Lieutenant Governor” will feature Republican Morris County Sheriff James M. Gannon and Democrat Centenary University President Dale G. Caldwell. The debate will be moderated by PIX11’s Dan Mannarino and Henry Rosoff.

The forum, “One on One: Race for NJ Governor,” hosted by Mannarino, will feature Democratic Party nominee and U.S. Representative Mikie Sherrill and Republican Party nominee and former Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli.

When is the NJ lieutenant governor’s debate?

The debate will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m.

When is the NJ governor’s forum?

The governor’s forum will air on Friday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m.

How to watch the debate and forum

The Lieutenant Governor’s Debate and Governor’s Forum will air live on PIX11, PIX11.com, and the PIX11+ smartTV app. Both programs will also be simulcast on PHL17 and PHL17.com.

Can I stream the events?
