CHICAGO — Two of the North America’s best restaurants are located right here in Chicago.

Smyth was recently name to The World’s 50 Best list of North America’s 50 Best Restaurants.

Located at 177 North Ada Street, the restaurant spot took the No. 4 spot on the list.

“Lots of places claim to be farm-to-table. But at Smyth, the produce comes from The Farm, an actual nearby farm with which they have a relationship. Select crops are grown specifically for the Fulton Market District restaurant, including vegetables that aren’t found on menus anywhere else in Chicago,” the website said.

The World’s 50 Best has also called Smyth one of the best in the world.

Chicago’s Kasama, located at  1001 N Winchester Ave, came in at No. 31.

“Kasama explores what it means to be Filipino in America today. The daytime menu is all about traditional comfort food, such as longganisa sausage, chicken adobo, garlic rice and flaky ube croissants. The evening tasting menu is more elevated, equally personal and precise. Dishes like sinigang (a traditional soup) with wagyu, lumpia and kinilaw, a traditional raw seafood dish,” the website said.

No. 1 on the list goes to Atomix in New York.
