Service from Merced to Mariposa to Yosemite and back will continue through winter with four east-bound runs available out of Merced and Mariposa daily, along with three options for west-bound trips. Service from Sonora to Yosemite and from Mammoth Lakes to Yosemite ends for the season starting Oct. 1. Routes from Fresno to Oakhurst to Yosemite stopped running for the season Sept. 15.
Passengers riding into Yosemite on YARTS do not need a day-use pass for the park, and college and university students are still able to receive free round-trip passes on YARTS through the end of the year.
