HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Officials with Ouachita Behavioral Health & Wellness announced the Second Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival will return to Hot Springs.

According to a spokesperson, the free event will be Oct. 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Greenway Trail, 121 Orange St.

The festival will feature live music, dance, food, community resources, and a silent auction with Mexican pottery and a $300 gift certificate from The Reserve, officials said.

“The response to our first festival was overwhelming, with families coming together to celebrate heritage and enjoy time as a community,” said Abril Reyes, OBHAW’s Community Engagement Coordinator. “This year, we’re building on that success with more entertainment, exciting silent auction items, and a stronger focus on connecting families with local resources.”

OBHAW CEO Susan Smith said sponsorship support is making an important difference.

“Events like the Hispanic Heritage Festival allow us to create opportunities for cultural celebration while also supporting the programs that serve children and families,” Smith said.
