Pleasant conditions before cooler & soggier weather moves in
Moisture begins streaming into the southwest on Thursday as a low pressure system pulls in Pacific moisture off the coast of southern California. Southwest Utah could see a few isolated showers toward the late afternoon and evening. The low pressure system meanders over southern California which will continue pumping moisture and cooler, but mild temperatures through Arizona and into southern Utah through the week.
By the weekend, the system begins to lift north which will bring a higher chance of precipitation to southern Utah and increasing moisture to the north. While it is still far out to pinpoint the timing and intensity, northern Utah should start seeing active weather by Sunday evening.
