WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — Four semi trucks have crashed in Whitley County, closing down a section of I-75 for an extended time.
Emergency Management Director Jerry Rains said the road is closed at the 7.5-mile marker, and a detour is in place in Tennessee for northbound traffic.
Rains initially said that the road could be closed up to five hours.
Just before 10:20 a.m., the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced that the road had been reopened in both directions.
There is no word yet on any injuries from the crash.
