IMPD officer involved in multi-vehicle crash on northwest side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — An IMPD officer was involved in a multi-vehicle crash on the northwest side of Indianapolis Monday night.

Public emergency reporting systems indicate the crash occurred at the intersection of West 86th Street and Moore Road around 8 p.m.

FOX59/CBS4 sent a crew to the scene. That crew located multiple crashed vehicles, including an IMPD squad car.

Officers at the scene told FOX59/CBS4 that their investigation finished approximately 45 minutes after the crash occurred. Those officers also confirmed that the officer involved in the crash did not sustain any serious injuries.
