Felony charges filed against man accused in death of victim found on Southwest Side
According to Chiago police, 57-year-old Andre Lewis has been charged with one felony count of first-degree murder and one felony count of concealing a homicidal death.
While specifics surrounding the alleged incident remain unclear, officers say it allegedly unfolded in the 6900 block of South Paulina Street, in West Englewood, on Thursday, Sept. 18.
Officers say Lewis allegedly caused the death of a male victim who was found dead around 10:15 a.m. on that day.
Lewis was taken into custody on Sunday, less than a mile away from the scene.
Authorities have not yet identified the victim killed and it remains unclear what led to their death.
