Presented by Headington Companies and Ann and John McReynolds, the evening was led by Executive Director Lucia Simek, with Artistic Co-Chairs Shayna Fontana Horowitz and Robyn Siegel, and Auction Chairs Peter Augustus Owen and Robyn Siegel. The event brought together a vibrant mix of artists, collectors, and cultural leaders, all united in their support of the museum’s mission to champion contemporary artistic practices.
Guests were welcomed with immersive projections by Horowitz, setting the tone for a night of creativity and connection. A silent auction featured works from celebrated artists including Chris Wolston, Katherine Bradford, and Xxavier Edward Carter, while dinner was served inside the museum’s current exhibition, You Stretched Diagonally Across It: Contemporary Tapestry, curated by Su Wu.
The evening also included a short film reflecting on Dallas Contemporary’s impact, followed by a live auction led by Brett Sherlock of Christie’s. Bidders competed for exclusive experiences—from Milan Fashion Week to Art Basel Hong Kong—culminating in a surprise donation from Dallas-based painter Francisco Moreno, whose upcoming 2026 exhibition was announced.
Thanks to a generous $100,000 gift from the Eugene McDermott Foundation, Dallas Contemporary will continue offering free admission through 2026, ensuring access to art for all. The night concluded with an energetic afterparty hosted by Shyboy, transforming the museum into a celebration of Dallas’s creative spirit.
