Rollover crash on Route 2 in Byron, driver walks away with minor injuries

BYRON, Ill. (WTVO) — A Machesney Park man survived a rollover crash on Route 2 early Saturday morning, according to police.

The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies were called to the 9000 block of Route 2 around 5:49 a.m. and found Nathaniel Radde, 29, had lost control of his vehicle while traveling northbound.

Authorities said poor weather conditions contributed to the crash.

Radde was treated at the scene by Byron EMS and released, the sheriff’s department said.

No charges or citations were announced.
