Byron man, 21, killed in rollover crash

POLO, Ill. (WTVO) — A 21-year-old Byron man was killed early Saturday morning after police said he disobeyed a stop sign and lost control.

According to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, Logan Linker was headed southbound on Union Road around 6:53 a.m. when he ran a stop sign at Judson Road, losing control of his vehicle and entering a ditch before overturning multiple times.

Authorities said Linker was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Police said the crash is still under investigation.
