2 hospitalized after argument leads to shooting at Southwest Side bar overnight
CHICAGO (WGN) — Police say two men were hospitalized overnight after gunfire erupted during a fight at a bar on the city’s Southwest Side.

According to police, the incident unfolded just after 10:30 p.m. on Friday in the 3600 block of South California Avenue, in Brighton Park.

Officers said it all began after the two victims, both 43-year-old men, got into an argument with an unknown male.

Police said the argument eventually turned physical, at which time the unknown individual pulled out a gun and opened fire on the victims.

Both victims suffered gunshot wounds. One was later hospitalized in critical condition, while the other was listed in good condition.

Authorities say no arrests have been made and an investigation is now underway.
