LAFOURCHE PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigations announced the arrest of a Thibodaux man accused of child sex related crimes.
Agents reported receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding the actions of 24-year-old Colby Bryant Johnson.
On Thursday, Sept. 18 Johnson was arrested on 173 counts of child sexual abuse material involving victims under 13.
The arrest was made through the help of LBI agents, Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Thibodaux Police Department.
Johnson has since been booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex. The investigation remains ongoing.
