By rssfeeds-admin Friday morning, the Philadelphia Police Department’s SWAT Unit and Homicide Detectives executed a search warrant at a South Philadelphia home and took Brandon Fischer, 17, into custody without incident. Fischer will be charged with murder, attempted murder, and other related offenses.
The July 7 shooting on the 1500 block of South Etting Street killed Zahir Wylie, 23; Jason Reese, 19; and Azir Harris, 24.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, nine additional victims were shot, ranging in age from 15 to 23 years old.
Anyone with information related to the case is urged to contact the Philadelphia Police Department Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334. Anonymous tips can also be submitted online by calling 215-686-TIPS.
As with all homicides in the City of Philadelphia, a $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
