STEM day available for high school students at NSU

NATCHITOCHES, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Northwestern State University will host STEM Day on Friday, September 26, 2025, offering high school students a chance to explore degree programs and scholarship opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math fields.

The event is open to students in grades 9-12, and will run from 8 a.m. to noon, beginning in A.A. Fredericks Auditorium. Registration is open through Friday, September 19, 2025. 

This year’s program has expanded to 20 workshops featuring hands-on activities and campus tours, according to a news release.  Students will learn about NSU’s programs in engineering, manufacturing, computer science, chemistry, physics, biology, and more, as well as student life and financial aid.
