Ed Sheeran to stop in Indianapolis during 2026 LOOP tour

INDIANAPOLIS — No, we’re not just “Thinking Out Loud.” The “Perfect” show is coming to Indianapolis next year.

On Thursday, Ed Sheeran announced the North American leg of his LOOP tour, including a stop at Lucas Oil Stadium on Oct. 10, 2026. Presale for the show begins on Tuesday, and general onsale begins on Sept. 26, more than a year ahead of Sheeran’s Indianapolis concert.

Sheeran, a singer-songwriter from England, is a four-time Grammy Award-winner, known for his catchy hits like “Shape Of You,” “Lego House” and “The A Team.”

Sheeran has not stopped in the Indianapolis area in more than eight years, having hosted shows in the Indianapolis area multiple times throughout his career, according to the tour archive on his website. This includes the following shows:

  • Sept. 8, 2017 – Bankers Life Fieldhouse
  • July 1, 2015 – Klipsch Amphitheater
  • April 25, 2013 – Bankers Life Fieldhouse
  • Jan. 25, 2013 – Egyptian Room at the Old National Centre
  • April 21, 2012 – Egyptian Room at the Old National Centre

According to a news release, the LOOP tour comes after Sheeran released his new album “Play” earlier this month. This tour “promises an all-new set design with new songs… as well as fan favorites and some classics added in.”

The tour will also include other stops in the United States throughout 2026, including:

  • June 20, 2026 – Nashville, TN – Nissan Stadium
  • June 25, 2026 – Milwaukee, WI – American Family Insurance Amphitheater | Summerfest
  • June 27, 2026 – Chicago, IL – Soldier Field

Fans are able to register on Sheeran’s website for early access to tickets through seated. Presale registration is free, the release said, but it does not guarantee access to tickets.
