Large party at Columbus business leads to 3 taken into custody, drugs and guns seized
According to CPD, around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, officers conducted a business license check at the Natural Nails and Gels Salon, located at 701 Brown Avenue, after reports of a large party at the business and nearby intersection.
The party led to the business owner Eric Poe, Dante Jenkins and Steve Wilborn being taken into custody after drugs and guns were found.
CPD says 1.5 pounds of marijuana, 100 Oxycodone pills, 2 firearms and multiple drug-related objects were discovered.
Poe is charged with obstruction, operating a business without a license.
Jenkins is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of schedule II drugs (Oxycodone), possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes, and possession of drug-related objects.
Wilborn faces charges of possession of schedule II drugs (Oxycodone), possession of drug-related objects, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
