Firefighters battle second barn blaze in Boone County

CAPRON, Ill. (WTVO) — Firefighters responded to a barn fire at 20932 Burr Oak Road in Capron today, marking the second barn fire in Boone County in as many days.

Smoke was seen coming from structures on the property, and charred remains were visible at the scene. This follows a similar incident on Friday when a barn at T-J’s Farm Market in Belvidere caught fire, resulting in the total loss of the barn and some animals.
