SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A memorial date for assassinated conservative activist Charlie Kirk has been announced for Sept. 21, according to NewsNation.
“Details on public attendance are unclear, and the person did not specify a funeral date,” a person familiar with the details told NewsNation. “There will be private events in the days prior, including a prayer vigil in Washington, D.C. on Sunday.”
Members of Congress and other political figures will reportedly hold a memorial service and prayer vigil the same day at 6 p.m. ET near the White House and United States Capitol.
This is a developing story. ABC4 will update this post as new information becomes available.
