BLUE ALERT: 'Armed and dangerous' suspect out of Georgia believed to be near Cherokee County, NC
MCCAYSVILLE, GA (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Blue Alert has been issued for a suspect accused of injuring a McCaysville police officer.

Timothy Craig Ramsey, 26, is wanted for allegedly injuring Police Captain Brantly Worley on September 12, around 11:10 p.m. Details on Worley’s condition have not been released.

Ramsey is a white male, 5’11, 185 lbs, with long brown hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen in the area of 1st Street, McMaysvilla, Georgia, wearing a green top, green bottoms and a dark-colored motorcycle helmet. He was seen traveling on foot.

Ramsey is believed to be armed and dangerous. Officials believe he could be close to the Cherokee County area of North Carolina.
