NPPD: Burglars stole cash, electronics from New Palestine High School
NEW PALESTINE, Ind. — Police are investigating a burglary after electronics and cash were reported stolen from New Palestine High School.

The New Palestine Police Department said they have launched an investigation into the burglary, which happened overnight on Wednesday. Police said three males, one of whom appeared to be armed, entered the school building and stole cash and multiple electronics from inside.

Now, police are asking anyone who lives near the high school to review any security cameras they may have. The time frame police are looking into is between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 1 a.m Thursday.

Police said that, out of an abundance of caution, there will be an increased law enforcement presence at the high school on Friday. However, there is reportedly no active threat against the schools or community.

Anyone with information on the burglary is being asked to immediately call New Pal Police at (317) 861-4225. To make an anonymous tip, call Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at (317) 262-TIPS. No other information was immediately provided.
