Pike County man charged in connection with March death

PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — Kentucky State Police have arrested a Pike County man in connection with a death in March.

Troopers said that on March 1, 45-year-old Brent Wooten was found dead along Allegheny Road in the Heller community. The ensuing autopsy confirmed his death was the result of foul play.

LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

After months of investigation, Brandon Blackburn, 44, was arrested. He was charged with murder as well as possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and being a persistent felony offender.

Blackburn was booked into the Pike County Detention Center.
