FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Officers in Fairfax County said they were at the scene of a hit-and-run collision that left a pedestrian in critical condition on Sunday morning.
In a social media post made just before noon, the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said it responded to the crash in the 3200 block of Holly Hill Drive in Woodley. There, a driver hit a man and fled the scene.
The man was taken to the hospital in life-threatening condition.
Crash reconstruction detectives were on their way to the scene. Anyone with information is encouraged to call FCPD or 911.
