While two people in Texas and Missouri won big on Saturday night’s Powerball drawing and will be splitting the nearly $1.8 billion prize, three Kentuckians will be sharing some smaller prizes still worth thousands of dollars.
According to the Kentucky Lottery, Saturday night’s winning Powerball numbers were 11, 23, 44, 61, and 62, with the Powerball of 17. While no Kentuckians matched all of the numbers, three people came close. Two folks won $50,000 each, and one person won $100,000.
Kentucky Lottery officials said the $100,000 ticket was bought at Kash Stop Four, located at 2841 Highway 2564 in Louisa. The ticket matched four white ball winning numbers and the Powerball. As the ticket had a Power Play on it, the prize doubled from $50,000 to $100,000.
The two $50,000 winners also matched four white ball winning numbers and the Powerball, but did not have a Power Play to double the prize. One of those tickets was sold at the M&S Food Mart, located at 11550 Bluegrass Parkway in Louisville. The other was purchased online through the Kentucky Lottery’s website.
These prizes have to be claimed at the Kentucky Lottery headquarters at 1011 W. Main Street in Louisville. The winners will need to sign the back of their tickets and have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes. They will also need to call the Kentucky Lottery at 1-877-789-4532.
According to the Kentucky Lottery, during this jackpot run, there were 14 big wins in the Bluegrass State, ranging from $50,000 to $1 million in cash prizes. Kentucky Lottery officials also said that in 2025, they have paid out more than $1.6 billion in prizes.
Monday’s drawing will see the Powerball Jackpot reset to $20 million, according to the Kentucky Lottery.
