A shelter-in-place in Champlin has been lifted after a suspect who reportedly stabbed multiple people left the area.
The Champlin Police Department said that at 5:54 p.m., officers responded to a reported stabbing in the 7100 block of 120th Avenue.
The police department said that the suspect and victims are known to each other.
As a result, a shelter-in-place alert was sent out to nearby residents while searching for the suspect.
At 7:20 p.m., authorities said they believed the suspect left Champlin, and the shelter-in-place was lifted.
Police say that this is an active and ongoing situation.
