According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, I-465 southbound will be reduced to one lane from Fall Creek Road to I-70 for concrete patching and temporary striping.
The work will also close the U.S. 36 (Pendleton Pike) entrance and exit ramps, along with the 56th Street/Shadeland Avenue ramp to I-465 southbound.
The closures start around 9 p.m. on Friday (Sept. 5) and will run through approximately 6 a.m. on Monday (Sept. 8).
In addition to those closures, the I-465 southbound ramps to I-70 eastbound and westbound will close on Sunday (Sept. 7) from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m.
INDOT urges drivers to use extra caution near work zones. The work schedule depends on the weather and could change if conditions warrant.
