Warm for Friday Night Football; Cooler weather on the way

COLUMBUS, Ga (WRBL)- Happy Friday! It is a little warm outside for anyone headed out to the football games this evening. Temperatures will still sit in the 90s for kickoff, but should cool off into the mid-80s by halftime.

Saturday: The First Alert Weather Team is tracking a strong cold front moving across the country. This front will move into the area Saturday, bringing a chance for showers. Isolated showers will be possible tomorrow afternoon.

Sunday: After the front clears, temperatures will begin to cool off. Highs will drop into the upper 80s Sunday. Plus, we will see breezy weather for several days.

Next Week: Afternoon readings will sit in the mid-80s through most of next week, while morning lows drop into the mid-60s. Winds will eventually calm back down at the end of the week. The rain on Saturday will be the only chance for measurable rain in the 7-day forecast.
