Here is what you need to know before tonight’s kickoff.
Can I still get a ticket?
Yes, but it won’t be cheap.
As of Thursday morning on Ticketmaster, ticket prices range from around $400 for standing room only, and the prices only go up from there. Some resale tickets are going for as high as $1,500.
Getting to Lincoln Financial Field
The team is advising fans to arrive early and allow for extra time when traveling to Lincoln Financial Field.
FanDuel will be sponsoring restoration of the Broad Street Line’s special Sports Express service for Thursday’s home opener. The express service will be fully restored for the day after it was eliminated from SEPTA’s first round of cuts. Pre-game Sports Express trips will run every 10 minutes to supplement Local service. There will be 10 Express and six Local trains ready to get fans home after the game.
The Eagles are also asking those without tickets not to travel to the South Philadelphia Sports Complex to avoid added congestion.
For fans traveling by car, parking is available at Lincoln Financial Field. For game day, regular vehicle parking is $50, and oversized vehicles are $100. Click here for more parking information.
Tailgaiting
Unsurprisingly, tailgaiting has already begun outside of Lincoln Financial Field.
Parking lots will open at 1:30 p.m., which is earlier than usual for home games, the team noted.
As a courtesy, the Eagles are asking fans to consolidate tailgates so there are enough spaces for the extra anticipated cars in the parking lot. The team suggests arranging a tailgate setup either in front of or behind the parked car within the painted lines of the spot.
What time does the game start?
Kickoff is at 8:20 p.m. and fans are encouraged to be inside the stadium by 7:45 p.m.
Game day forecast
There is a chance for showers this evening in South Philadelphia. Watch Monica Cryan’s forecast below:
Leaving Lincoln Financial Field
If taking transit, SEPTA recommends fans go to NRG Station immediately following the game to make sure they catch a train home. The FanDuel sponsorship also covers free rides home from NRG Station, beginning at halftime.
Other ways to watch the game
For those who cannot make it to the South Philadelphia Sports Complex, you can always watch the game from the comfort of your own home, or your favorite bar or restaurant. The national broadcast will be on NBC and Peacock.
