Woman accused of stealing over 12 Ninja machines from stores across Fairfax County

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Police in Fairfax County “blended” a series of charges after a woman was accused of stealing more than a dozen Ninja SLUSHi appliances across Fairfax County.

Over the past year, the woman stole more than $10,000 worth of machines, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

On Aug. 24, just after 6 a.m., an officer was conducting traffic enforcement on Russell Road in Hybla Valley when they noticed a suspicious rental van that committed a traffic violation.

During the stop, the officer noticed two women inside the van. The passenger initially gave police a false name, but was later identified as Christine Woodson.

That’s when police learned that she was wanted on 16 active arrest warrants.

While working with the Springfield Town Center Shopping Center Unit, investigators determined Woodson was allegedly responsible for a series of thefts across Fairfax County.

She primarily swiped Ninja SLUSHi machines and would flee in a vehicle before officers arrived, according to investigators. In one instance, Woodson reportedly stole about $1,081.84 worth of merchandise.

Woodson is accused of shoplifting from the following locations, starting in May:

6/02/2025 6100 block of Arlington Blvd, Seven Corners Larceny $350
8/11/2025 6600 block of Springfield Mall, Springfield Larceny $680
8/11/2025 6600 block of Springfield Mall, Springfield Larceny $350

Woodson was charged with ten counts of petit larceny, two counts of larceny with intent to resell, possession of burglarious tools, organized retail theft, a failure to appear warrant from another jurisdiction and more.

She is being held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
