Man injured after car overturns off of I-66 in Arlington
In a post on X around 11 a.m., the Arlington Fire and EMS Department said units responded to a collision on the highway’s exit ramp, near Route 110.
There, crews found the vehicle overturned on its roof, in the woods, with a man trapped inside.
A team of firefighters and medics quickly removed the man from the car. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The fire department shared a video from the scene, showing the red car sitting on its roof and airbags deployed.
As of Tuesday morning, some lanes on I-66 West were closed as crews worked on the scene.
