Mountain Home Fire and Police set for Saturday Charity Ragball Match

MHPD leads the series 2-1; Saturday to see friendly rivalry return.

The fourth annual Charity Ragball game between the Mountain Home Police Department and the Mountain Home Fire Department is scheduled for Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Mountain Home High School Softball Fields. The police lead the series 2-1 after winning last year’s game, which had previously been tied. Each matchup has been closely contested, and the fire department will aim to even the series and claim this year’s trophy and bragging rights. As in previous years, the event is free to attend. This year, however, all donations will go to a local family whose son is undergoing extensive treatment in Memphis, rather than being split between charities chosen by each department.

KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News had the opportunity to speak with Patrol Sergeant Henry Campfield (MHPD), Captain Jake Bigford (MHFD) and Fire Department Engineer/EMT Tommy Feliccia and get the details of this years event. When asked what to expect at the event, all 3 guests had the same response and detailed a way for attendees to win.
