The Arlington County Police Department (ACPD) said officers were dispatched minutes before 7:30 p.m. to the intersection of Washington Boulevard and 7th Street N. There, they learned a man was driving south on the boulevard when he struck two parked cars, one of which was occupied.

The driver who was struck sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The man driving the striking vehicle stayed at the scene and also reported having minor injuries, ACPD noted.
