By rssfeeds-admin The West Virginia Lottery announced Wednesday that the Slow Much Money scratch-off ticket was sold at Go-Mart #101 off West Virginia Route 16 in Parkersburg. The prize, which is the biggest prize for the game, was claimed by William H. One Slow Much Money ticket costs $10.
The prize will be taxed at 24% federally and at 6.5%, so the estimated cash value is the ticket is $34,750.
The lottery is a hot topic this week as the Powerball jackpot grew to $1.3 billion after no winner was drawn Monday, although a ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Morgantown. The next drawing for the Powerball is Wednesday night.
The winner of a $1 million Powerball prize from ticket sold in Hurricane, West Virginia back in March has yet to claim their prize. That prize must be claimed by Monday, Sept. 8.
