One person died after a two-vehicle crash in Minneapolis on Sunday afternoon.
Minneapolis police say that on Sunday, just after 3:15 a.m., a Ford was going east on Sixth Street South when it was hit by a Kia on Second Avenue South.
One of the women in the Ford, who was believed to be the driver, was ejected from the car and died at the scene. The other woman in the Ford was brought to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities said that the two men in the Kia did not sustain any injuries.
Initial reports indicate that the Ford ran a red light, and speed was a contributing factor.
Minneapolis police are investigating to determine what led up to the crash.
