Two vehicles overturn in Oakhurst crash
MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two vehicles flipped over after crashing on a road in Oakhurst Saturday morning, the California Highway Patrol announced.

Around 10:20 a.m., officers say they responded to a two-vehicle crash just east of Civic Circle in Oakhurst.

Investigators reported a Mariposa man was headed westbound in the No. 1 lane at about 35 miles an hour as an Oakhurst woman was traveling in the same direction in the No. 2 lane.

CHP says the man in the Toyota attempted to turn right toward the Camarena Health parking lot but did not check if the path was clear. As a result, the Toyota’s rear end hit the front of the woman’s Subaru, causing both vehicles to overturn.

Officers report the driver and passenger of the Toyota were transported to a local hospital, but no one sustained major injuries.
