Shreveport Blues & Southern Soul Festival returns

Shreveport, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The sounds of blues and southern soul are set to take over downtown Shreveport as the 14th Annual Shreveport Blues & Southern Soul Pre-Labor Day Festival kicks off on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Festival Plaza.

This year’s lineup features performances from Marcellus Thesinger, Arthur Young, FPJ, the Jay Morris Group, Young Guy, and Shae Nycole.

The festival, presented by Help Improving Life, LLC, promises a day full of music, food, and fun.

Tickets are available now at several locations across the Ark-La-Tex, including Vernon’s Barbershop in Bossier City, King of Wings and On Time Fashion in Shreveport, Kwik Car Wash in Minden, Sound City in Marshall, TX, and Golden Lady in Texarkana, AR.

The event is sponsored by the Louisiana Office of Tourism, City of Shreveport, Shreveport-Bossier Convention & Tourist Bureau, Caddo Parish, King of Wings, Bud Light, and more.
