Learn to harvest and store seeds at Historic Washington State Park

WASHINGTON, Ark. (KTAL/KMSS) – Learn how to grow and care for seeds at Historic Washington State Park’s “All About Seeds” workshop.

“Take a deep look at the importance of how to harvest and store seeds properly,” a press release stated. “In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn harvesting, drying, and storage techniques to preserve their seeds for future use.”

The workshop will take place on Saturday, September 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a one-hour break for lunch (not provided). Those interested can register for $25 per person by contacting the park visitor center at 870-983-2684.
