Colma police officers responded to the Stewart Chevrolet dealership for a welfare check at approximately 1:15 pm. on Thursday. Arriving officers made contact with an intoxicated man who was lying on the driveway. Police said the man “displayed the objective signs of being under the influence of alcohol.”
The subject was identified as Los Angeles resident Erdenebat Borgio. Per Colma PD’s investigation, Borgio had a $5,000 felony warrant and a $15,000 and $25,000 misdemeanor warrant for his arrest. After the discovery, Borgio was detained for his warrants and for being drunk in public.
Upon Borgio’s arrival at the San Mateo County Jail, Borgio headbutted the transporting sergeant twice in the chin, according to police.
Borgio, 36, was arrested and booked for battery against a police officer and his warrants.
